The Sanctuary of San Andrés de Teixido is the end of Old Road to Teixido, or Camino de Romeros to Teixido, in the last forty years was used as the main route of northwest ledge of A Coruña. It is preserved and offers numerous cultural and artistic heritage, in some cases dating back more than 2000 years old. San Andrés de Teixido is the second sanctuary of Galicia, after Santiago de Compostela and is considered as the "Mecca of Galician". The festivities is celebrated on September 8.
